Some engagement sessions feel like they were made for the location, and Anne and Eric’s Tony Grove engagement photos were exactly that.
Anne hadn’t been back to Logan since 2008, but when she saw Tony Grove, she knew it would fit perfectly with the wildflower theme she had envisioned for their wedding.
The timing couldn’t have been better. The wildflowers were absolutely beautiful, and the whole location felt like the perfect setting for their engagement portraits.
As a Tony Grove engagement photographer, I love when a couple chooses a location that connects to the feeling they’re creating for their wedding day. This session felt romantic, natural, and completely them.

From Iowa to Logan Canyon
Anne and Eric actually traveled from Iowa to Park City for a family reunion, and they decided to make the most of their time in Utah by fitting their engagement session into the trip.
I’m so glad they did.
They were both so fun and giggly throughout the session, which made photographing them incredibly easy.
When a couple is comfortable laughing together and simply enjoying each other, I don’t have to manufacture connection. I can just document it.
And that’s exactly what happened with these two.
Tony Grove Was Made for Their Wildflower Theme
Anne wanted a location that would complement the wildflower theme of their upcoming wedding, and Tony Grove was such a beautiful choice.
The wildflowers were at the perfect point during their session, creating a gorgeous natural setting throughout the mountain landscape.
Tony Grove is one of those locations where you can photograph a couple surrounded by nature without needing to add much else.
The flowers, trees, mountains, and soft summer light do most of the work for us.

Engagement Photos That Feel Like You
I always want engagement photos to feel like an extension of the couple rather than a collection of poses.
For Anne and Eric, that meant leaning into the playful side of their relationship.
They laughed constantly, which made it easy to capture the little moments between the more traditional portraits.
Those candid interactions are often my favorite photographs because they show what a couple is actually like together.
Your engagement session doesn’t need to feel overly serious or formal.
If you’re naturally goofy, let’s capture that.
If you’re quiet and romantic, we’ll make space for that, too.
Why Engagement Photos in Logan Canyon Are Worth the Trip
Tony Grove is a beautiful option for couples looking for mountain engagement photos in Northern Utah.
The location gives you a completely different feel from downtown Logan or a traditional park, with alpine scenery and seasonal wildflowers creating a distinctly Utah backdrop.
For couples traveling into the area, it’s also a wonderful way to make your engagement session part of your Utah experience.
Anne and Eric were already here for a family reunion, and their Tony Grove session became one more beautiful memory from their trip.
Your Tony Grove Engagement Photographer
I love photographing couples who aren’t afraid to have fun together.
Anne and Eric made this session so easy because they were completely themselves. They laughed, they played, and they trusted me to guide them through the photographs.
The result was a gallery that feels joyful and romantic—and perfectly suited to their wildflower-inspired wedding.
As a Tony Grove engagement photographer, I’d love to photograph your engagement session in Logan Canyon, Cache Valley, or anywhere in Northern Utah.
If you’re planning a wedding and want engagement photos that feel natural, personal, and true to your relationship, let’s create something that feels like you.
