This engagement session at Tunnel Springs Park was so much fun! Allie and Dillan have such a cute love story that I’m excited to share! They met while serving their LDS missions in Odessa, Texas. They only saw each other about 6 times throughout their missions, but they both admitted to crushing on the other and not thinking it would go anywhere! Then they both finished their missions last July and they started officially dating in January. I met Allie and Dillan that January and I got see them together pretty early in their relationship. It was so obvious that they were a perfect match! I noticed right away how much they make each other smile and laugh.

First Date at Temple Square

Allie and Dillan’s first date was to Temple Square. They had so much fun and had such a hard time saying goodbye! Allie was sure that Dillan would propose sometime in March, but he surprised her when he proposed in February while they were visiting the Meridian, Idaho temple. They were planning to take a polaroid picture that night in front of the temple and then a second one on their wedding day, but after Dillan slipped the ring out of his pocket and popped the question, they both forgot about the picture completely.

Allie’s Favorite Thing about Dillan

When I asked Allie what her favorite thing about Dillan is, she said, “His gentleness and his ability to keep me steady! He is so level-headed and just has this calmness about him that makes me feel like I am home when I am with him!” I loved that answer so much! Dillan said his favorite thing about Allie is “How dedicated she is and trustworthy. And how cute she is and her ability to make others around her smile. I love you Allison!” I love hearing about why couples love each other!
