Twin Senior Photos in Preston Idaho | Downtown Session for Emma and Ava

This twin senior photos in Preston Idaho session for Emma and Ava was one of those shoots where I spent almost the entire time laughing along with them. These two are seniors at Preston High School, and they brought the sweetest energy into the session from the second we started.

They were constantly teasing each other, giggling between poses, and making each other laugh without even trying. Honestly, that sibling dynamic made the entire gallery feel so natural and full of personality.

One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is hearing about future plans, and I loved getting to listen to them talk about college, goals, and everything they’re excited about after graduation. Senior year feels so emotional already, but photographing twins during this season feels extra meaningful because they’re stepping into such a big life transition together.

Twin Senior Photos in Preston Idaho with Personality and Connection

Downtown Preston ended up being the perfect location for this session because it gave us so much variety while still keeping everything relaxed and easy. The brick textures, sidewalks, storefronts, and softer neutral backgrounds added visual interest without overpowering the photos.

I love downtown sessions for seniors because they naturally feel a little more modern and candid. We can move around easily, stop wherever the light looks good, and capture a gallery that feels dynamic without needing multiple locations.

For Emma and Ava’s session, we wanted to balance individual portraits with photos that highlighted their relationship as sisters. That combination is always important during twin sessions because each senior deserves their own spotlight while still documenting this season together.

One thing I loved most was how effortlessly they interacted. I barely had to direct them because they naturally fell into conversation, joking around, and laughing together throughout the session. Those in-between moments always end up being some of my favorites.

Why twin senior sessions are so special

There’s something really unique about photographing twins during senior year. They’ve spent nearly every stage of life side-by-side, and suddenly graduation brings huge changes, new schools, and separate paths.

That season deserves to be documented honestly and intentionally.

I photograph seniors throughout Preston, Logan, Richmond, and surrounding Southern Idaho and Northern Utah areas, and I always encourage siblings to lean into their actual personalities during sessions instead of trying to pose perfectly the entire time.

That’s exactly what made this gallery work so well.

Emma and Ava brought so much warmth and personality into the shoot, and their connection made every photo feel genuine. The final gallery felt playful, emotional, and full of the excitement that comes with senior year.

Downtown Preston also continues to be one of my favorite hidden-gem locations for portraits in Southern Idaho. It gives just enough texture and variety while still feeling clean and timeless in photos.

I absolutely loved photographing these twin senior photos in Preston Idaho and documenting such a fun season for these sisters before graduation.

If you’re looking for senior portraits that feel personal, natural, and full of personality, I’d love to help plan your session. Reach out through my contact page and let’s create something meaningful together.
