Sarah and Garrett’s Valentine Engagement Session in Logan, Utah was such a breath of fresh air!  We started up in Logan Canyon with fresh snow coming down, and finished our session downtown after the sun came out from behind the clouds.  It was a warm day for January, so we didn’t freeze despite being outside for a few hours!  Once we got downtown, most of the snow was gone on the sidewalks, and we enjoyed thawing out when sun started shining. That made it look like an entirely different day which added some fun variety.  I love that their two different outfit choices create a completely different look as well.  One is cozy and casual, and the other looks like they are ready for date night.

Theirs is a true modern love story.  Sarah and Garrett met not just in spite of Covid, but because of it.  He was in a different state finishing up PA school and she was here in Logan teaching 1st grade full time.  When everything shut down last year and everything moved to online, there was no reason for him to be away and he moved back to Utah.  They met online through a popular dating app and were able to use technology to get to know each other.  They talked through zoom and facetime for hours at a time every day while they were apart. It also helped that their schedules were freed up quite a bit at that time so they could become close.

Right before their wedding Garrett finished his rotation here in Utah and now is working as a doctor!  Since she is a teacher, she got the summer off after their wedding, so they were able to spend a lot of time together as newlyweds.  Everything worked out perfectly for them!
