I am seriously having withdrawals from knowing that Veronica and Micheal are married and I won’t get to hang out with their family and friends again. I’m writing this just 24 hours after their wedding concluded and I seriously left the evening feeling like I had been welcomed into the largest and most loving group of people. I seriously can’t say enough about how kind, generous and service oriented every single person was during this whole wedding experience. Veronica came to America from Hong Kong a few years ago, never expecting to meet her husband. But from what I heard from everyone that knows them best, is that Michael is always with Veronica and Veronica is always with Michael. As they first started dating it became apparent to Veronica that anytime that she was stressed out or nervous about something, Michael was always the person she could count on to calm her down and make everything work out. They are best friends and now spouses, ready to be life partners. The wedding day was beautiful, warm and joyous. Veronica had her mom come all the way from Hong Kong and lots of old friends were able to make the trip as well. I loved seeing the two cultures merge. I especially loved the flowy pink bridesmaid dresses, Veronica’s wedding dress that she designed herself and all the personal touches from friends and family. One of Michael’s aunts made the stunning cake, bringing it all the way from California to be assembled in Utah. Her bridal party was so helpful, I can’t say enough about the girls that followed us around the Temple, helping in anyway they could. My favorite part of the day was that Veronica’s sister just entered the MTC to be a Sister Missionary at Temple Square. She was granted permission to come see her sister exit the temple as a wife and get some pictures before going to a training. It was such a special blessing for her to get to be there, so far away from home. My other favorite part was all the groomsmen were catching Pokemon all over the temple grounds. Ha! Their evening reception at Barbwire and Lace was detailed, full of love, dancing, sparklers and even a Chinese Tea tradition that was all very special to be apart of. Thanks for letting me capture your day, Mr. and Mrs. Carr! It was a pleasure to serve you!!
