I first met Veronica and Michael over Skype a few months ago. I love getting to chat with my couples for a consultation before we take their pictures so that we can get a feel for each other and go over everything they need to know for an amazing #KyleeAnnBride photography experience. These two have stolen my heart! We waited until May to take their engagements because Veronica loves florals, femininity and Michael (of course). They made the day trip up to Logan so we could shoot at one of our favorite locations, Zollinger’s Tree Farm in Logan. We are in luck that the trees were all in perfect bloom, the sun was showing off its beautiful self through the tall trees. Veronica is from Hong Kong. Her mom was set on her attending school in Utah a few years ago, and even bought her a ticket to America and Veronica was to leave just a few days later. Then fate intervened and Michael met her while she was studying at the library with one of his friends. He served his mission for the LDS church in Japan and thus loves all things Asian. He also is a linguistic major and they both speak multiple languages.
When they first started their relationship, he and Veronica had a very special date where they saw a shooting star. Veronica is a designer and designed her wedding ring to resemble the shooting star as a symbol of their story. I loved the individuality and style she infused into her session. When she came out of the car in the tulle blush ball gown, my jaw hit the ground. This couple is perfect together. The day was even more special when they realized that it was 2 years to the day exactly of when they had first officially started dating when we did their engagement session. I love those small coincidences that just reaffirm correct decisions! Can’t wait til bridals guys!!
