Montana Boy, Virginia Girl

Ahhh! Finally I get to share Lauren and Paxton’s Winter Provo wedding! Their day turned out just as amazing as these two dreamed! If you don’t remember their story, here is a recap! She’s a Virginia girl who fell in love with a Montana boy. Even though they grew up on opposite sides of the country, they still came together, thanks to Lauren’s best friend! Her best friend Rachel moved from Virginia to Montana. Lauren came out one summer to visit. That’s when she first met Paxton. Who knew that she would meet her future husband on that little visit. They reconnected on another quick visit a few years ago and when they realized they both were attending school in Idaho, they developed a friendship that easily fell into a romance. Their first date was to a little Italian ice place and they talked and talked. Paxton proposed in October by taking her back to the same waterfall in the woods he had asked her to be his girlfriend by. He even brought homemade Mac and cheese so of course Lauren said yes!

Winter Provo Wedding

Their wedding day was chilly but they were so giggly and cute, they almost didn’t notice! (Besides the cold toes and hands!) They were married in the Provo City Center Temple. I love this temple in the snow. The warm brick is so unique and Lauren and Paxton popped right off of the backdrop in their wedding outfits. We shot their bridals here a few weeks early so that we didn’t have to hang out in the cold so long and we are so glad we did! You never know what the weather is going to be in a winter Provo wedding! They chose the cutest wedding reception called the Start Up Building! I love this budding because there are so many ways to customize the decor to what you want. Their reception was cozy and filled with friends and family! I loved getting to see everyone come support them! To know these two, is to love them! Congrats you two!!!
