Today, my hottie husband (pictured above and below) turned 24 years old. All he wanted for his birthday was a trip to Washington. I’m always down for a trip to Washington, so we packed up and flew out on Saturday night. My parents surprised him with a hotel in Ocean Shores for his birthday.
After a delicious lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, we drove to Ocean Shores. We went window shopping for a few hours, played on the beach for a little while and then sat in our warm car and watched the waves crash against the shore. The rest of the night we are just relaxing, eating, watching Netflix and TV, playing games and hot tubbing. It’s been a really long time since we’ve both been able to do what we want to do at the same time without juggling a baby.
This is the first night we’ve had away from Brody since he was born. Hello Benadryl and a solid night’s sleep. I’m so grateful for my parents. I never have to worry about a thing when Brody is with them. It has been a wonderful, relaxing birthday celebration.
& then we were being silly on the beach…
