If you don’t mind mixing business with pleasure, traveling is a HUGE perk of the job. Tips for traveling for business: Set up training, workshops, courses, photoshoots or vendor meet ups in different states. For example, I have taken pictures of weddings or family session in nearly every state I’ve traveled. I have taught a Kylee Ann Workshop in Alaska and Oregon. Through Maskcara, I plan on traveling for mentoring, team trainings, conventions, conferences and retreats. These are two very different careers, but I can still find a reason to travel for business. Make sure to find to relax, explore and enjoy.

Make up as a write off?? Didn’t think that was a possibility until I joined Maskcara. I’ll never stop. The first purchase of $399 got me over $900 in make up. It cost me money, but it doubled as a tax write off because it was the Artist start up fee. WOW. I’ll never pay for make up out of my personal money again…and that is an amazing thought.

Yep, personal assistant aka slave. Jk jk. But really, this is a major major major benefit for me. I have had so many amazing assistants and interns over the past few years that do all that stuff that I just can’t put on my plate anymore. I guess I wouldn’t need an assistant if I didn’t run a business? But wouldn’t everyone love someone to help them with their job??
Life is so much sweeter with a team supporting you every step of the way.
