Yesterday, 1000+ young women and leaders from 9 different stakes (Longview to Bothell to the Coast) in Washington gathered together in Lacey for a 5K virtue run and conference. Former General Young Women’s President Elaine S Dalton and guest speaker, Diana Hoelscher, were their guests of honor. The amazing, David Wolf was called as the event photographer and he called me, my dad and Nina Bentley to assist with the race. I was thankful to be in town and honored to be a part of such a special, special event!
I stood at the finish line as over 1000 young women finished their race. Some were tired and sweaty, some were happy and proud, some were worn, some were refreshed, but they all were virtuous. They were all daughters of God. Tears welled up in my eyes all morning as I watched these young women interact with each other and their leaders. Luckily I had the camera to hide behind. Thank you young women for being examples to me and for letting me be there to capture this once in a lifetime event!
All pictures from all 4 cameras will be made available through the Facebook page. Coming soon… :)
