Every time I get to photograph the Adcock family, it feels like catching up with dear friends. This year’s session was something extra special—an unforgettable mix of blooming wildflowers, sweet milestone moments, and heartfelt family connection. We met up in Northern Utah’s breathtaking Mantua Poppy Field for some stunning Box Elder County Poppy Fields Photography, and let me just say… it was pure magic.

The poppy fields were in full bloom when we arrived, and the golden hour light danced across the petals like a dream. Northern Utah really shows off this time of year, and Mantua never disappoints. The wildflowers created the perfect canvas for updated family portraits and gave us that soft, romantic background every photographer loves. After capturing their family portraits, we headed just a few minutes away to Box Elder Campground. This spot is a hidden gem near Brigham City and offers that woodsy, laid-back feel perfect for casual shots and candid moments. Between both locations, we had such a beautiful variety of backdrops!
Celebrating Milestones and Small Business Pride
Along with their annual photos, the Adcocks had something extra to celebrate—kindergarten graduation! Their youngest wore her cap and gown like a pro, grinning from ear to ear. her energy was contagious, and those proud parent smiles said it all.
We also took updated headshots for their family-owned business, ChemDry, which serves clients throughout Box Elder and Cache Valley. It’s always an honor to support local businesses, especially when they’re run by families as kind and hardworking as the Adcocks.
A Session Full of Light, Laughter, and Love
This session was everything I love about being a family photographer in Utah. It had color, connection, laughter, and a few quiet moments that felt straight out of a movie. Watching this family grow year after year is something I’ll never take for granted.
