My dream came true when I got to return home to be a Hamilton Montana Wedding Photographer. Alana and Michael met freshman year of high school. They dated for 9 years leading up to their perfect wedding day. See their amazing love story and engagements here. Their love is so unique and different. They have worked to meld their lives into one, while still maintaining their personal identities. That’s what makes them so different. They wholly support, love and encourage each other. This was so evident in the way they crafted their perfect day.
They were married at the Bitterroot Barn in Corvallis on the Teller Wildlife Refuge. It was a rainy day. But the skies parted right as it came time for the ceremony. Michael stood at the front of the isle, his tailored blue velvet suit coat buttoned, and his eyes filled with love for his wife and for his future. Alana was the epitome of grace as she ascended the stairs down to the isle, where she walked herself down to her husband and lover. They stood at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains in front of their friends and family as they shared the vows they wrote together. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as they exchanged rings and shared their first kiss.
This wedding was different because I could hardly tell who’s family was who. Everyone just blended in to one big family. You could tell that this day was so symbolic and the start of the rest of forever, but they are already each other’s family. Alana and her mom crafted the perfect decor to match their modern rustic atmosphere. Western weddings help you create the classy, elegant wedding you’ve dreamed of. The flowers were out of this world, as was the venue and the food. Friends shared speeches of love for the couple and family members got out on the dance floor. This wedding will always stand out in my mind, since I got to travel home to serve this couple. Enjoy!
