Balboa Park Family Photos | Zacarais Family

I recently had the pleasure of shooting an extended family for Balboa Park family photos. I have been shooting the Zacarais family for a few years now! They were dressed to the nines and looked simply elegant! It was a joy to capture their beautiful family portraits surrounded by the stunning backdrop of Balboa Park. Let me share with you some highlights from our time together.

Balboa Park Photoshoot

The Zacarias family wanted their extended family pictures taken in Balboa Park. As a result, they planned a formal attire shoot and wanted the classy architecture and arches of the Prado in Balboa Park. We spent most of our time walking around Balboa Park, taking pictures at different spots along the way. After that we stopped at my favorite spot right in front of The Prado restaurant – it’s such a classic San Diego scene and makes for great photos!

Chemistry

Throughout our shoot, one thing that really struck me was how much love this family had for each other. Even though they all have busy lives and schedules, they still manage to come together periodically to make memories as a big group. It’s moments like these that are truly priceless and I am honored to have documented it for all of them! I just love their family so much!

To anyone considering a formal family portrait session, let me just say that it is an experience worth having!
