June 27th. Rob and Wendi had been planning their summer beach wedding for months. You’d think a June wedding would be perfect weather, but it was SO stormy! When we arrived at their Bear Lake wedding, Rob was hanging onto the tent and speakers with all of his weight to keep them from blowing away. It was rainy, windy and the skies were dark. Nevertheless, Wendi and Rob were both optimistic and praying hard that it would clear up for the ceremony. And it did! For about two hours the sun came out and the sky cleared up. There was not one single drop of rain the entire time we were taking formal photos or during the ceremony. Wendi’s five children and one granddaughter were the entire wedding party. They were so fun to be around and full of energy. All the kids, Rob and Wendi had a choreographed dance as they walked down the aisle. The ceremony was light, funny and beautiful all at the same time. The entire day was a perfect celebration for Rob and Wendi. A special thanks to Katie G. Photography for being a wonderful second shooter and driving partner.
