Celebrating Mother’s Day at Freckle Farm
Mother’s Day Minis at Freckle Farm is a special event that we look forward to every year. The lively, supportive energy that fills the greenhouse is contagious, making it one of our favorite days of the year! The event has evolved over the years, but this year was extra special. We decided to donate all the proceeds to a local foundation named Little Lamb Foundation, which helped numerous mothers in need. In this post, we will talk more about Little Lamb Foundation and share some highlights of our favorite event of the year.
Little Lamb Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on serving families with children who have health issues. They fund raise for hospital equipment, programs and awareness, and support groups for parents and families with children with health issues. We felt that it was a worthy cause to donate to as they provide support and care to mothers who need it most. We were thrilled to see so many people participate in our event, and all the funds were donated to this noble cause.
The greenhouse was filled with excitement as we welcomed moms and children from all over the community. We offered mom and me pictures for a $10 donation. The sign ups were full in 20 minutes. The greenhouse is a perfect setting for taking pictures with a beautiful array of flowers and plants. The joy of the moms was contagious as they posed and smiled with their loved ones.
The greenhouse was not the only attraction on that day. Mom’s shopped for flowers and the kids chased each other through the aisles. It was heartwarming to see fathers, kids, and grandparents come together to celebrate the moms in their lives. The atmosphere was one of love and compassion.
At KAS, we love giving back to our community and so does Freckle Farm. Their greenhouse holds a variety of events throughout the year where we donate proceeds to different charities that supports the needs of our community. Being involved in our community has always been an essential part of our business philosophy. It is amazing to see the support that the people from the community show towards us as we give back to our community.
Celebrating Mother’s Day at Freckle Farm
Kylee started Kylee Ann Photography 9 years ago, and has since grown from a one woman amateur show to a full associate team. We shoot 50-75 weddings a year, and thrive on kindness and service. After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
