Last Saturday I got to dance around in the snow with the cutest couple. Katlyn and Dallen are from my home stake in Lacey, Washington. Dallen was friends with Katlyn’s cousin so they met several times, but it wasn’t until after high school when they officially started seeing each other. Katlyn was home on a short break from college and Dallen was about to leave on his mission. They met and clicked instantly. Several months later Katelyn was home for the semester and they began to date. They were inseparable until Dallen left on his mission then wrote the entire time. While he was gone, Katlyn decided to serve a mission as well. Their missions overlapped and Dallen ended up waiting for Katlyn for six months following his mission. When she came back, they knew it was meant to be! Katlyn and Dallen will be married in the Portland Oregon LDS Temple on March 12th! (I was married in the Portland Oregon LDS Temple on Marth 12th too ;))
Dallen and Katlyn made the drive from Rexburg to Tony’s Grove for the most wonderful snowy engagement session. It was very cold, especially for poor Katlyn with her flats. But it was perfect. Snow covered fields, ice covered lakes and frosty pine trees. We had so much fun.
