A Denzil Stewart summer mini session was absolutely perfect for this family of three!

If you want photos outside, and you have young kids, this is exactly what you need!  The weather is warm, but not too hot in the evening.  Denzil Stewart Nature Park is the perfect setting to just be together as a family.  You don’t have to worry about your baby being too cold like in the fall when weather can be unpredictable.  With a Denzil Stewart summer mini you will get all of the photos you need in 20 minutes or less.  The perfect amount of time for little ones, and dad’s too!

The Burgon family picked a pastel color pallete which created a soft feeling in their photos.  The pinks, blues and whites were complimentary to the soft green background.  Their clothes were also made out of lightweight fabrics that moved well with them and kept them comfortable and cool.  I especially loved that they dressed their baby girl in pink with ruffle sleeves and a bow on top of her head.  On top of that, her eyes matched her dad’s shirt!  Your outfit choices really make a huge difference in the overall look you will get  I am always happy to give advice when clients ask, but these ones did it all on their own!

It was really important to this family that we captured the sweet relationship they have with their little one.  She ended up being the star of the show!  It was so cute to see how interested she was in the buttons on her dad’s shirt and watch her huge smile when he threw her in the air and put her on his shoulders.  She loved being close to mom and I was dying over how cute it was when they snuggled in together.
