My family has always been extremely close. We have a great relationship with all my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and even some second cousins, great aunts and great uncles. After I got married, the invisible wall between adult and child/aunt and niece disappeared and my aunts became some of my best friends. To make it even more fun, the youngest aunt on my mom’s side, Barbi and I got pregnant (both accidentally) at the same time. Barbi’s sweet little baby, Ava, is just 6 weeks older than my son, Brody. Our favorite activity is dress up. When one baby gets a cute outfit, the other one gets one to match. With every cute outfit, we plan a photoshoot. It’s a great (kinda expensive) activity. These two are already the best of friends.
