This cute Hauter family had their first professional family picture in ten years! Their last photo was when their youngest was a baby!! With their oldest leaving on a mission soon, they had to schedule a session . Right before I took the first picture, I slipped and was bleeding down my leg the rest of the session. Somehow they didn’t laugh and still trusted me the whole time haha. Has it been a long time since you had your family pictures taken? Want to know what’s included in a Family Photography Session with Kylee Ann Studios? Keep reading.
Whether it’s updating the family album, celebrating a milestone, or simply cherishing the present, a family session offers a wide range of options to ensure that every member of the family is represented authentically. Here’s a breakdown of what’s typically included in a family photography session:
1. Whole Family Portraits
The heart of any family session is capturing the entire family together. This involves photographing the entire family in various backdrops and poses, showcasing the unique bond and dynamics that make each family special. These images often become the centerpieces of family photo albums and wall displays, serving as a timeless reminder of love and togetherness.
2. Kids Only
Kids bring an unmatched energy and spontaneity to a family photoshoot. Devoting a segment of the session to capturing the kids individually or as a group allows for the authentic expression of their personalities and relationships. From playful candid shots to more composed portraits, this segment ensures that the essence of childhood is beautifully preserved.Even when your kids grow into teens or adults. This sibling dynamic is always fun to photograph.
3. Parents Only
A family photography session also includes the opportunity for parents to have their moments in the spotlight. Capturing the love and connection between parents in a set of intimate and heartfelt portraits can be a meaningful addition to the overall collection of images. These portraits serve as a testament to the strength of the parental bond and the foundation of the family unit.
4. Individual Pictures of Each Kid
Each child is unique, and individual portraits allow for the spotlight to shine on their distinct personalities and characteristics. These portraits not only serve as wonderful keepsakes but also provide an opportunity for each child to shine independently, fostering a sense of individuality and self-expression.
5. Special Requests
Family photographers are also open to accommodating special requests to tailor the session to the family’s specific desires. This may include capturing specific groupings such as just the boys or moments that focus on the mother with the kids. These personalized touches add depth and meaning to the session, ensuring that every aspect of family dynamics is celebrated and immortalized through photography.
If you’re planning a family photography session, don’t hesitate to communicate your preferences and ideas with the photographer, as they can help tailor the session to perfectly suit your family’s vision and style. After all, the resulting images will be a cherished reflection of your family’s story for years to come.
PS. These pictures were taken at Tony Grove. One of the BEST locations from end of June through October!
