There’s something truly magical about Green Canyon Family Pictures, and this year’s session with the Brammer family was no exception. Photographing them for the past eleven years has been one of the greatest joys of my career. Year after year, they show up with so much love, laughter, and style—and it feels less like work and more like reconnecting with old friends. Watching their family grow through my lens has been such an honor, and sessions like this remind me why I love what I do.

A Fresh Setting for Their Session

While we’ve shot at some of their favorite spots before, this year we switched things up. The Brammers chose Green Canyon in Cache Valley, Utah, and it was breathtaking. The day started out stormy and moody, but by evening, the skies cleared into soft golden light. The mountains framed their portraits in the dreamiest way, adding both depth and beauty to every image.

One of the many things I adore about this family is how much thought they put into their outfits. Linds always brings her A-game, and this time she took it to another level. She had all the girls styled with professional hair and makeup by Tia, and they looked stunning. The coordinated colors and textures gave the session such a polished yet natural feel. Styling is such a key part of family pictures, and once again, the Brammers nailed it.

Capturing Both Posed and Playful Moments

Another tradition we’ve kept over the years is including a full folder of bloopers. Linds loves it, and honestly—it’s one of my favorite parts too. The giggles, the silly faces, the in-between moments… they tell just as much of a story as the perfectly posed portraits.
