HOLY COW. We had a super fun and very busy weekend after three full weeks of layin low with Piper! On Thursday, Luke took me on our first post-baby date to the movies. It was SO nice to get dressed up and out of the house. Brody loved golfing and hanging out with Nani, Papa and Chase and Piper came with us.
Halloween
Friday was Brody’s second Halloween! This time he understood what was going on a little bit more than last year, but he was totally freaked out by the costumes…even my pig nose. After a looong time convincing him to wear his pirate costume, I gave up and put him in regular clothes. We met Luke at his office for their work trick-or-treat. After he saw the other kids in costumes, Luke was able to get him dressed up in costume without any fight. He is obsessed with candy, so trick-or-treating was a dream come true. After a little sushi dinner break, we went trick-or-treating at Macey’s, Grandma Honey’s trunk or treat and a few houses in the neighborhood. Brody had so much fun with his cousins and filling up his candy bag. Piper dressed up in her Fab-Boo-Lous Halloween outfit and loved hangin’ out with mom and dad.
Brody’s Second Birthday
Saturday was Brody’s 2nd birthday. We celebrated with his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents at the Jump Zone. Brody LOVES jumping with these guys! After the hour of jumping was up, we headed upstairs to party! His Mustache Birthday Party was a success. He loved the piñata, drinking with the mustache straws, his pizza, blowing out his candles (3 times) and of course his presents. Thank you to all our family that came to celebrate! It was a blast.
