As Sam slid up the hill in his traction-less shoes, his heart was racing and his nerves were so high. Eight photographers, a make up artist and designer gathered around him from the front and his bride-to-be coming from the back. He saw the dress bag hanging in her apartment for months now, but had no idea what it looked like was inside. Their first look was filled with so much love. He wrapped her up in his arms and told her how beautiful she was right away. The nerves faded quickly, and the cuddling, spinning, kissing and loving on each other began. Sam was making us all laugh so hard with his table tipping, air squats and almost butt grabbing. It was the best to see these two so happy and in love!
Hannah and Sam were so brave to volunteer for their first look and bridal session in front of the Kylee Ann Sleepover Styled Shoot. Hannah is a dear friend of mine. Photography brought us together years ago. It started with a few mentorships as she dove into the world of photography. As we kept chatting about photography and life, we became great friends too. She came to a Kylee Ann Workshop all the way from Washington in winter of 2015. The next year in 2016 she came again to a full Kylee Ann Sleepover. Now in the third year of Kylee Ann Workshops and Sleepovers she is back! Not as a photographer this time. She is our incredibly stunning real bride model. I’ve seen her through some exciting time and some devastating times but in all the years I’ve known her, I have never seen her so happy than she is with her man. She is glowing with joy and confidence in the arms of Sam. These are their real bridals, but I cannot wait for their really real wedding day next month!

Not only did Lauren at Pace Made do the invites, signage and place cards, but was also in charge of the styling of the entire shoot. She drew out the plans with water colors then made sure I had bought and rented all the right things. Lauren was there on scene styling the tables and filming our behind the scenes live videos ;)

We love Tiff! She did an incredible job on Hannah’s hair and make up to match everything she could have dreamed for bridal make up. On top of that, she came on scene to make sure her hair stayed in place and her make up didn’t need any retouching. Tiffany is literally the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet with the cutest little giggle. We all adore her.

With very little direction on what I wanted for florals, Freckle Farm made the most magical bouquet and boutonnière. It had all the perfect textures, colors and dimension. I absolutely LOVE working with the florists at Freckle Farm for their incredible designs, floral picks and not to mention those long flowy ribbons.

First and Third has the BEST rental shop in town…among the kindest owners, cutest decor and floral shop. They graciously rented me their amazing candlesticks and the navy tablecloth for our shoot. It wouldn’t have been the same without those details.
