This is our hero: daddy. Today he turns twenty-five, which is a quarter of a century. It seemed like a great occasion to gush about why we is the greatest: First and foremost: he is the best dad in the world. No really, this is true. He changes bums, does bath and bed time on most nights and most importantly plays with Brody better than anyone else. Brody and dad have the best time together and are always laughing. Brody loves his daddy. He facetimes him every morning at work and runs straight to the door when dad’s home! He is also the best husband in the world. This has been proven time and time again through sickness (especially this pregnancy), graduating, sleepless nights, starting a business and just everyday life. He takes care of me. He’s patient, forgiving and loving.
He works so dang hard. He doesn’t just do his job; he goes above and beyond. Ever since I first married him, he’s been promoted in every job he’s had. Customer service rep to team lead to entire customer service manger to sales rep to US sales manager. Nothing stops him from doing his job. Not only does he work hard, but he works a lot. Ever since Brody was born, he’s worked 40+ hours a week. This is hard on a dad, but he doesn’t complain about it. He works on vacations, sometimes on weekends and pretty much always a bit of overtime to get his stuff done. He works hard at home too and makes a great housewife. He cooks, cleans, does the dishes all the time, mops 90% of the time, helps with laundry and pretty much all the other “women” jobs. Basically he is the best. Happy 25th Birthday, babe! We love you.
Oh and also, he just added mountain biking to his long list of hobbies. He went to Bike Hint and bought a bunch of biking gear. Brody and I went and spied on him the other day, but he said we weren’t allowed to take pictures. Woopsies, my finger must have slipped on the shutter button…
