I loved reconnecting with this cute family during their session, and it felt extra special because it tied back to Hawks Prairie Washington Family Photography, which always has my heart. They patiently waited for the right moment, and I felt so grateful when everything finally lined up.
We planned our Thanksgiving trip to Washington, and as soon as our dates were set, I reached out to let my WA list know I’d be in town. This sweet crew booked a spot instantly. Their excitement made me even more thrilled to photograph them. I could already picture the cozy fall colors, the festive air, and the joy that always comes from capturing families who truly value these moments.
We met at the sweetest little field tucked away near the Hawks Prairie area. It offered soft light, tall grass, and the perfect hint of holiday charm. Every corner of that field gave total Christmas-card vibes. I love when locations add to the story, and this one wrapped everything together so beautifully.
Little L and E immediately stole the show. They ran up with bright smiles and started chatting my ear off. Their energy kept the session lively, and their little comments had all of us laughing. I love when kids feel comfortable enough to show their personalities. It makes every pose feel natural, warm, and full of life. Their playful chatter made the entire shoot flow with ease.
Between their giggles and the soft glow of the field, we captured the kind of images that families treasure for years. These moments always remind me why I adore photographing families who return or follow along closely on my updates. The trust, the ease, the genuine connection—it all shows up in the photos.
