Some senior sessions are extra special because of the relationships behind them.
Cooper is my next-door neighbor, and I’ve had the chance to watch him grow up over the last seven years. Getting to photograph his Logan Utah senior and mission photos was one of those full-circle moments that reminds me why I love this job.
We packed a lot into one evening, photographing at Denzil Stewart Park, the Logan Utah Temple, and Ridgeline High School. Not only was Cooper celebrating his senior year, but he was also preparing to serve a mission and had recently signed to play football at Weber State University.
That’s a lot of exciting milestones for one person.

Why combining senior and mission photos works so well
Many seniors in Cache Valley are preparing for both graduation and missionary service.
Combining those portraits into a single session allows us to tell the full story of this season of life. We can capture traditional senior portraits, mission photos, and meaningful images that reflect their interests and accomplishments.
For Cooper, football was a huge part of that story.
My favorite part of the session
Without question, my favorite images came from Ridgeline High School.
Seeing Cooper in his letterman jacket on his home field felt like the perfect way to celebrate all of the hard work that got him to this point. Those images showcase not only his athletic accomplishments but also the memories he’s made throughout high school.

Documenting a season that goes by quickly
One of the reasons I love senior photography is that it freezes a moment that passes incredibly fast.
High school ends.
Missions begin.
College starts.
Life changes quickly.
These portraits help preserve a season that families will want to remember forever.
Cooper’s session was such a fun evening, and I’m excited to see all the great things ahead of him. Click here to get on my schedule for your senior session!
