Somewhere between baseball games, car rides to school and even a few car wrecks, Heather and Josh fell in love. It wasn’t love at first sight. Heather was two years older. She was the carpool ride. She was the cheerleader at baseball games. But she wasn’t there for Josh. She was the older sister. And Josh was the younger brother’s best friend. They went through their teen years together probably never suspecting that one day they would walk down their wedding aisle hand in hand. They have so many memories together. And a solid friendship. Now, several years later they reconnected, and fell in love. And now marriage.
Their formal session is to die for. The Mantua poppy fields are all the rage in mid-June. All my Facebook friends start changing their profile pictures to their family amongst fields of poppies. All my photographer friends are shooting in the fields every weekend. When I pulled up to the Box Elder Campground (after getting very lost…dumb map), there were families and photographers everywhere. And poppies. And mountains. And pine trees. And rocks. It was the most beautiful, perfect scene. The best for a couple in love.
