There’s nothing sweeter than photographing a long-awaited newborn—and this session with the Petterborg family at Blush Door Studio in Providence, Utah was one I’ll never forget. Tori and Brandon are dear friends, and this little miracle took a lot of time, science, and love to get here. Watching them hold their baby boy for the first time during our session? Instant tears.
This darling baby was so calm and snuggly, the absolute perfect little model. We styled the session with soft neutrals and cozy textures to keep the focus on his perfect features. The natural light in the studio was gentle and flattering, casting a soft glow on every moment.
What made this session extra special was the love that poured into every frame. You could see it in the way Tori and Brandon looked at their son—with awe, pride, and so much joy. They were relaxed and so present, soaking in all those tiny details: the squishy cheeks, the way his fingers curled around theirs, the tiny yawns.
