October 21, 2014. Today is Miss Piper Ann’s due date, but we are SO happy she joined our family 10 days early. She doesn’t do much besides sleep, eat and poop, but we are loving every single second of it. Snuggly newborn cuddles are my favorite. I cannot put her down.
For months I have been collecting new hats, backdrops, fur, lace and other accessories for our sweet baby girls first photo shoot. My amazing friend, Kylie Steelman, made me so many beautiful hand crocheted props for this shoot that I have been dying to use. She is so talented. Also, Ann Villenueve and Brenda Gifford made beautiful quilts for the Princess and the Pea scene. We went a little overboard with scenes, but Piper was patient through it all. And my mom was a great assistant.

We attempted a few family pictures too… I sure love my crazy toddler and sweet baby girl.
My mom left this morning and we are already missing her. I don’t know what I would do without her. Besides keeping up on all my laundry, cooking, making freezer meals, taking care of Piper AND Brody day and night, grocery shopping, helping with pictures, etc etc, she is my best friend. I had so much fun with another adult around to talk to all week long! She is seriously the BEST mom and grandma in the world and we will miss her like crazy around here.
Kylee started Kylee Ann Photography 9 years ago, and has since grown from a one woman amateur show to a full associate team. We shoot 50-75 weddings a year, and thrive on kindness and service. After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
