I have worked with April at Gypsy Rose Floral Boutique three times now and have been absolutely amazed by her promptness, affordability and talent. SHE IS AMAZING! After our first session together, I was sharing the pictures with her and we started talking about how she got started. Her story and determination to live her dreams were inspiring. She typed it up for my blog and it can be read a little further down this post.

“I started working at Elliott’s Gifts & Floral in Manti, Utah when I was 16. I was able to work in the flower shop and learned from the best, Kallene Braithwaite! I worked there all through high school and then for two summers during college. I always dreamed of having my own floral shop but it was one of those dreams you think about but could never be a reality. When Steve and I got married 2 and a 1/2 years ago, he told me we would open one someday. We laughed about it and that was that.
A year ago we put our town home up for sale so we could build a home with a place for a small flower shop so I could still be at home with my two girls and do wedding/funeral flowers. Our home never sold. One afternoon, just out of the blue, Steve said lets go to Wells Fargo and see if we can get a loan to open a flower shop. Shocked, I agreed and amazingly, doors were opened that we never dreamed possible and that’s how Gypsy Rose began.
We knew that the flowers would be seasonal and if we had an actual store, we would need something else to sustain us. I LOVE shopping and boutique shopping is my favorite! You can always find fun treasures at a boutique! So, we combined the two and created Gypsy Rose Floral Boutique. I do flowers for all occasions (weddings, funerals, special occasions, boutonnieres & corsages, silk arrangements, etc…) with delivery available. I have a variety of plants and dish gardens available also. I have women’s boutique style clothing, shoes, & accessories. Lots of jewelry, scarfs, purses, wallets etc… I also have some crafty home decor items.”
