Fall in Cache Valley is always a little unpredictable. The McNeeley family session was a perfect example of how flexibility can lead to something truly beautiful. We originally planned to meet near Mendon to catch the last of the golden leaves. But when dark clouds and rain rolled in, we made a last-minute change that ended up being exactly what this session needed.

We headed to the opposite end of the valley for Preston Idaho fall family photos, where the skies cleared just enough to give us soft light and a dry window to shoot. Trusting the pivot paid off in the best way.
