This week, AI touched almost every part of my photography business.
Not in a scary “robots are replacing photographers” kind of way. More in a “wow, I suddenly have help organizing the mental chaos” kind of way.
In this episode of the CEO Photog Club, I’m giving a real behind-the-scenes look at how I’ve been using AI—specifically Claude—as an actual coworker inside my business. Not just for captions or cheesy prompts, but for systems, organization, backend workflows, content strategy, brainstorming, and reducing decision fatigue.
How I’m Actually Using AI in My Photography Business
Inside this episode, I’m sharing how AI helped me this week with:
- Managing multiple Instagram accounts
- Organizing content ideas and marketing plans
- Payroll and backend systems
- Podcast prep and repurposing content
- SOPs, workflows, and communication
- Reducing mental overload and task switching
One of the biggest shifts for me has been treating AI less like a “tool” and more like an operations assistant or strategist that helps me move faster.
Because honestly? The hardest part of running a business usually isn’t the ideas. It’s organizing the ideas.
AI for Photographers Without Losing Creativity
I also talk about the bigger conversation happening around AI in the photography industry—fear, resistance, overwhelm, and the concern that technology will replace creativity.
My perspective is the opposite.
I don’t think AI replaces entrepreneurs. I think it rewards people who already have ideas, leadership, creativity, and vision by helping them execute faster.
This episode dives into:
- How photographers can use AI strategically
- Why backend systems matter more as you scale
- The future of content repurposing and automation
- Smarter client experience workflows
- Why AI should support human connection, not replace it
And honestly? Some of the possibilities coming in the next few years are wild.
If you’ve been curious about AI but overwhelmed by all the noise online, this episode will help you think about it in a much more practical, business-focused way.
