As a commercial photographer, one of my favorite things is helping brands launch products that solve real problems for parents. This recent session for Esembly was the perfect example. We photographed their newest diaper cover launch in the studio in Layton, Utah, and the entire shoot was filled with adorable babies, happy toddlers, and products designed to make life a little easier.
This reusable cloth diaper photography session focused on showcasing Esembly’s new diaper covers featuring an adorable tie-front detail. The design is practical, functional, and honestly so cute in photos.

Why reusable cloth diaper photography requires both product and lifestyle images
Parents shopping online want more than a product photo.
They want to understand how a product fits into everyday life. They want to see how it looks on real babies, how it moves, and how it functions during daily routines.
That’s why we created a combination of lifestyle images and clean product-focused content during this session. The babies and toddlers brought so much personality to the shoot, which helped showcase the product in an authentic way.
When customers can see a product being used naturally, they gain confidence in their purchasing decision.
Capturing products designed for real families
Baby brands face a unique challenge because they’re marketing to parents while photographing tiny, unpredictable models.
Honestly, that’s part of the fun.
Some of my favorite images from this session came from the candid moments between poses. The little smiles, curious expressions, and playful interactions helped create images that feel genuine and relatable.
That’s exactly what modern parents connect with.

How commercial photography supports product launches
Launching a new product requires a lot of content.
Brands need images for:
- Shopify product pages
- Social media
- Email campaigns
- Digital advertising
- Product announcements
- Retail materials
Creating a versatile gallery allows brands to maximize every photoshoot and continue using the images long after launch day.
Creating imagery that builds trust
The best commercial photography helps customers immediately understand a product’s value.
For this reusable cloth diaper photography session, the goal was to create images that felt bright, clean, approachable, and informative. The result was a gallery that highlights both the functionality and personality behind the product.
As a commercial photographer, I love helping baby brands tell their story through thoughtful imagery. And honestly, spending a day photographing adorable babies isn’t a bad way to work either.
If you’re preparing for a new launch and need photography that supports your website, marketing, and sales goals, I’d love to help bring your products to life.
