HEALING. That is our focus for 2020. I have a lot of healing myself, but this boy is where my focus started for 2020.
Ro in Fall 2019:
Egg White ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Navy Bean ⠀⠀
He was covered in horrible rashes that bled from all the itching. His gut is a mess. He was always sick. He hasn’t slept through the night in…well, ever. But during fall he’d been staying awake almost the whole night from discomfort.
What we did:
- Detoxing from chemicals he was tested for – which ended up being chlorine. Which makes so much sense because he was sick all summer long.
NAET multiple times a week
Somewhat restricted diet
All sorts of lotions and vitamins. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ro’s Recovery with NAET and Cleansing:
I promised my little boyfriend we would search high, low, near and far to find a solution to his increasing health struggles that felt right. And I wouldn’t stop or settle until I got a real answer.
After being diagnosed with allergies, then asthma, then more allergies, I wasn’t satisfied with just treating the symptoms and changing his diet. In fact I stopped the inhaler completely in September (going into cold season) because it didn’t feel like asthma was the problem.
I prayed for a solution for healing or finding the cause of his small decaying body. I kept repeating, how can I two year old have all these problems? What is causing this? And then I turned to Instagram for help.
I still don’t know the cause. But through our search for answers, we have found hope and healing in Eastern Medicine.😭
Rowen’s second highest allergy was eggs. We found this allergy when he was 9 months old. At 12 months he had blood work done to confirm. I hoped he would grow out of it but at 2 years old, the blood work confirmed it had only gotten worse.
A month ago I made Piper french toast. I touched him before washing my hands and even that made his entire body react. His egg allergy was so bad we have an epi pen and Benadryl with us at all times.
Three weeks ago he was cleared of his egg allergy through NAET with Dr Skaggs. It seemed too good to be true that I didn’t think it would work for us. So for two weeks I didn’t even try to give him eggs.
Luke finally suggested we try, so we did. And there was no reaction. 0. No hives. No swelling. No redness.
I cried happy tears. And praised God.
Even the nursery leaders were shocked today when I said he was good to go on snacks because a month ago he was limited to plain meat and apples for a diet.
We still have allergies to clear and problems to fix, but we are getting there.
In our family we choose to try everything we can until the answer feels right. I did the same thing with my adrenal fatigue, and again with my anxiety diagnosis. If you’re not satisfied with your diagnosis or your prescription, keep searching. Don’t give up. There are SO many ways to heal.
