Saltair Bridal Session | Andi & Gavin
If you remember Andi & Gavin’s engagement session it was FREEZING. Literally, it was in the middle of winter 10+ feet of snow. We ran on the frozen lake. I don’t know if they will ever forget how dang cold they were during that session. Gavin was set on somewhere warmer for their formal session so we stayed in the Salt Lake Valley instead of going up the canyon. Isn’t Utah so rad? The mountains still had plenty of snow at this time. But it was 55 degrees during our bridal session.
There are a lot of pros to having a formal session ahead of your wedding day. Even though the the pros out weigh the cons most brides are still a little hesitant to do it. The walking down the aisle moment is just so traditional and special. But with Andi I didn’t even have to talk her into this session. She was excited and even used our advice to write Gavin a letter before hand.
I like to keep formal sessions low key, but a hand written letter is such a special touch. It doesn’t add any extra stress. It gets both of you in the right mind set for your session.
Also, have I mentioned that this is one of my FAVORITE locations in all of Utah? That’s pretty impressive considering how many different terrains we have. Click here to see more sessions at The Great Saltaire.
