Going into my first spring as a full-time commercial photographer was exciting. I prepped the studio with dozens of new spring backdrop colors and props. We had blues, yellows, pinks, eggs, candy and even bunnies. Spring Brand Photography is SO pretty. When COVID-19 shutdowns and quarantines began, I was devastated thinking I may not be able to use any of it. But after a few weeks into the shutdown, I launched our Spring flat lay sessions and they were so much fun.

A few facts about flat lay photos…

• Flat lay sessions are actually the highest converting photos for most of my brands. Our flat lay photos sell more than lifestyle because it allows the customer to see the product clearly

• Flay lay photos can be used for so many different things. Instagram posts, stories, announcing new product, store listing photos, email blasts, collaborations or giveaways with other brands, etc.

• Flay lay photos can bring your feed to life! I love to plan these photos around the upcoming season, holiday or launch.
