This styled fall shoot was one of my very favorite to date.  I absolutely adore this style!  I love it when my commercial clients give me a mood board showing the look and feel they want for a session.  Lamour always goes one step farther and sends on brand outfits and socks along with their shoes!  If you are a brand owner and struggling to get the right look for your photos I would suggest sending “props” like these along with your product.  We do have tons of props to choose from in our studio!  But if you are looking for a particular look and don’t want to rely on what we have or the clothes the models bring along it can help up level your photos!

For this particular styled fall shoot I was able to go around my house and find some props that worked well.  In the mood board they showed books, apples, and chalkboards.  I just happened to see those cute old fashioned ones at the dollar section of target a week before!

This shoot was especially fun for me because my own kids were the perfect sizes for the shoes and were able to model!  They asked for the focus to be on the shoes, so you would never know, but I love looking back on them!  Another thing that made these pictures extra special was the movement we were able to add in.  When the little models are old enough to follow instructions we can create some really unique photos!  It was so nice that they sent several different sizes so we could get some variety.  We had so much fun together and they loved being able to follow my instructions when I asked them to do silly things like step on books, put apples on top of their feet, and pretend to take their shoes on and off.
