Wow. What a wedding.
Sarah and Willi drove from Colorado with a trailer, and their family and friends came from all over the US. It was a destination wedding in Bear Lake Utah. There were cousins from the east coast, friends from the west coast, colleagues from New York and everything in between. They didn’t just plan a wedding. They planned a full on retreat. Every day had an itinerary of games, activities and SO MANY INCREDIBLE details.
A weekend to remember
Their wedding day started with Yoga for everyone staying at the resort. Guests played Chess, outside sports and other games while the wedding party began to get ready. The schedule was so polished and organized. I was blown away.
I got to Sunrise Resort just as the wedding party was finishing up the getting ready details. I always love sneaking into the brides room and capturing the last minute details of the sisters and friends getting each other ready for the big day. After everyone was ready, we did a first look in an empty blue room, and headed to the scenic outlook for some incredible wedding party photos.
The ceremony was held in the backyard under an adorable arbor. The officiant did an incredible job and the couple had so many personalized details mixed into the ceremony. After the “I do”s were said, we quickly did some family pictures and mingled during cocktail hour while the venue set up for the reception. The room was just lovely. Beautifully lit, spacious, classy. But the best part of the reception and entire evening was the DJ, Cooper.
Best Wedding Vendor of All Time
I have been to my fair share of weddings the past 8 years but I have never met a DJ so personable, involved, professional and FUN! Cooper got the party going, continued to keep it incredible and was so careful to include the couple, traditions and CREATE unique special moments throughout the night. I HIGHLY recommend One Above Entertainment as the BEST wedding vendor I’ve worked with.
The night ended with a onesie party around the fire. So basically, coolest wedding ever. Here’s some picture proof:
