The Venue | Ogden Wedding Photographer | Courtney & Kaden

Whenever I find empty venues that let you decorate them on your own, I bookmark it in the back of my head. A lot of brides want something that they can make their own. But a lot of venues make you use all their own rental companies. The Venue in Ogden was the perfect space. Courtney is such a classy girl, and she keeps it very simple. Her style is timeless and she was able to showcase it through her decor such as using weddings linens direct which are perfect for this type of events. She was such an easy bride to work with. They had so many people that they love helping out throughout the night.

Another amazing thing that Courtney did was use a fake bouquet. This made it so that she was able to use the same bouquet for bridals as she did for her wedding day. She also gets to keep her bouquet because it will last forever.

One of my favorite parts of Courtney and Kaden’s wedding was the family. They both had the biggest families. The front two rows were just immediate families. Right before Courtney was about to walk down the aisle the entire room got quiet. Kaden looked out to all of the people that love him the most and all of the people that love his soon-to-be wife the most. It was emotional. Everyone started looking around. I could feel the love. The entire room could feel the love. You couldn’t recreate that type of love if you tried. I was really able to put myself in the parent’s shoes and imagine Mina’s wedding in 20 years.

I never want to forget Kaden’s face when he saw Courtney. They had already done a first look, but it didn’t take away from the moment his bride was walking down the aisle to marry him forever. I was snapping pictures of Courtney and turned around to see Kaden wiping away the biggest tears. I got chills, and suddenly the aisle seemed a mile long. As soon as Kaden was able to take Courtney from her dad he hugged her so tight. These are the moments that shape my belief in love and really change my career.

The reception was filled with so many guest. Courtney and Kaden had a hot chocolate bar and cheesecake. I love when the parents ask me to take pictures of the people helping to make the reception happen.  They really are some of the most selfless people and it makes it so the parents can enjoy all the guest they haven’t seen in so long.

There wasn’t a single thing that went wrong the entire night. Everyone had so much fun and I hope that Courtney and Kaden had the perfect wedding day!
