A few months ago, I was on a plane talking to the woman next to me. She mentioned she had twin boys, and I told her that I have a twin too. The guy next to me said, “wait so do I.” and the woman in the seat in front of us turned around and said “me too!” We spent the next thirty minutes chatting about all the beautiful parts of being a twin – the secret language we shared with our twins that no one around us could understand. or how we could be mad at our twin one minute but if someone turned on them too, we’d have our twin’s back in an instant.
I live about 7 minutes away from my twin sis and we still talk on the phone a minimum of 5 times a day. She knows my every thought, and gets me like know one else does. We shared a room for 18 years, but our connection has only grown deeper as we’ve become our own people these past 8 years of living apart. Now we get to raise children, own homes and grow businesses side by side. I really don’t know how other people do life without a twin sister by their side.
So blessed to be born + raised with my best friend.
