Trending Wedding Colors | Carley & Colton

Carley and Colton got married on a Thursday at the Brigham City Temple. Because they got married on a Thursday there was only one other wedding the whole time. The unique part about a temple wedding is that it’s one of the only wedding venue in the world that can have sometimes 60+ weddings a day. We always suggest getting married on a weekday to avoid crowds. Everything about their wedding day was perfect. I was so worried that it was going to rain. When it rains we just push through and make everything the best that we can. But when it’s supposed to rain and it doesn’t you just count your blessings!

There were no crowds, the sky was a little bit overcast, and it was warm enough that Carley didn’t freeze without a coat! It snowed a few days later so this really was a miracle! Carley has two sisters and a brother. Her sister Addie is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was so so missed on the wedding day. One of my favorite details was Carley’s father’s Argentina flag pin on his suit. She was remembered all day long and even got to FaceTime to see the reception details.

Wedding Photographer Referrals

If I could choose how to start the wedding experience with every bride I would choose to start with a referral. It’s so cool to have a bride that has already seen how I work on a wedding day. When I had my bride meeting with Carley she hardly had any questions. I shot her brother’s wedding just a few months before she got engaged. Trending Wedding Color

This shade of blue is definitely a trending wedding color this year. It’s a popular color in every industry but seeing bridesmaid dresses was so much fun. I told Carley that she was ahead of the trend because her wedding was so early in the year and she had the hottest trending wedding color. I loved the colors with the bouquets and the variety in the girls dresses.
