Best Friend’s Wedding
I particularly love this couple! I’ve known Allae for years, lived with her in college and happen to know she is one of the most service oriented people I know. She cares about everyone and works so hard to give that it’s an honor to have gotten a front row seat to getting to watch her fall in love over this past year. Their story wasn’t the usual, girl meets boy and gets married. But their story has become a testament to how much the correct timing plays into finding your eternal companion!

Allae and Tyler lived in the same ward. Tyler took notice of the cute girl teaching Sunday school week after week and always made a point to let her know he enjoyed her lessons. They went on a few dates at the end of the summer two years ago. They enjoyed their time they spent together but it just didn’t feel right at that time. Over the next year, Allae spent all her free time traveling and serving her large family all around the U.S., as well as supporting her parents in a move and helping during some hard times.

Fast forward to the end of that busy summer, when Tyler kept popping up in her mind as someone she was curious to get to know better! They reconnected and it was instantly different. It was easy and fun to get to spend time together. They worked through tough things together, and it was so apparent that this year, the timing was just right. Around Thanksgiving, he surprised her on a date by proposing in Memory Grove with candles and photos of the two of them and Allae was so excited to say yes!
Roolee Dress for Engagements
Allae and Tyler took me to Orson Smith Park in Draper for their engagement pictures and it was my first time shooting there! It was one of the first days of the sun poking through the clouds and I was stoked! These two have the best style and I absolutely loved Allae’s dress from Roolee! I enjoyed getting to see some of my best friends showcase their love for the camera. I totally almost teared up during this shoot. It is such an honor to see my best friend SO happy! Can’t wait for their wedding in May!
