Yesterday, I woke up with the desire to take Brody’s eight month pictures. We haven’t formally done pictures in a few months. After his first nap, I searched for the cute plaid hat my mom gave him, then I found his vest she bought him and a bright green shirt to go with it. I opened up his pants drawer to search for a matching outfit and found the shorts Grandma Honey bought him yesterday. Then we had a complete (and coincidently matching) picture outfit.
We loaded up Brody, some snacks and all the photography equipement and were off to find a location. On the way out the door, it started pouring down rain. All out first choice locations were crossed off the list and we headed to this doorway with a little more coverage. Brody found a stick on the doorstep within seconds and would not let go.
A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights shorter, bank balance smaller, home happier, clothes dirty, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

And we never blogged his seven-month photo shoot with our dog (of three days), Apollo.
