Last weekend was the annual Cache Valley Cruise in. When I was a little girl, my family would sometimes make a trip to Utah for the fourth of July. I remember sitting on blankets on the side of Old Main cheering on the shiny cars. I’ve never really been interested in cars, but it has always been a fun memory to look back on and remember the celebration and fun times with cousins. This was Brody’s very first car show. He loved the loud cars and some of the colorful, but the grass held is attention better than anything.
The night before the Cruise down Old Main, I met up with a group of Cache Valley Photographers and a few gorgeous models. In the middle of our shoot, it started raining so hard that we had to hide under a tent to stay dry for a few minutes.
“The Cache Valley Cruise-In is a rod run event held annually in Logan, Utah (90 miles north of Salt Lake City) and is hosted by the Cache Valley Cruising Association. All types and models of specialty Clasiq vehicles are invited to attend. It all started in 1982 with a group of five people working together to organize the first Cache Valley Cruise-In. It has grown each successive year and is now attracting over 1000 vehicles which include Street Rods, Street Machines, Customs, Restored Vehicles, Motorcycles, and Trucks, while spectator attendance has risen to more than 30,000 people. The three day event is held at Logan/Cache Fairgrounds, the first Saturday in July.”
