Mebie Baby’s rodeo-themed collection was one of our favorite projects this year! As a Utah commercial photographer, I absolutely love shoots that mix clean studio work with on-location storytelling—and this one had the best of both.
To start, we created a polished studio session. Using a seamless white backdrop and soft, bright lighting, we photographed flat lays, product close-ups, and model shots that were perfect for e-commerce. These images focused on the textures and design elements of the clothing—everything from the tiny stitched details to the cozy fabric weight.
Then we took things outside. The second part of this shoot brought the products to life with a full western vibe. We shot on location at a rodeo and nearby horse pasture, capturing dusty trails, rustic fences, and golden light as our backdrop. These outdoor photos gave the brand emotional context and elevated the collection’s storytelling potential in a big way.
