Saxon’s senior photo session was one for the books! As a Utah senior photographer, I love tailoring each session to highlight who my clients are—and Saxon knew exactly what he wanted. His love for golf runs deep, so we headed to the Logan Country Club for a shoot that felt authentic, relaxed, and uniquely him.
We spent the evening cruising around the course in golf carts, stopping at greens, bridges, and tee boxes with beautiful golden light. He wore a mix of classic golf attire and dressier looks, giving us plenty of variety while staying true to his personality. We even grabbed a few fun action shots of his swing, which added a sporty touch to the gallery.
Making Senior Photography Personal and Meaningful
What made this session so special wasn’t just the stunning location. It was the story behind it. Saxon has spent years golfing at this course with his family, so every spot held memories. That emotional connection translated beautifully on camera.
We didn’t rush the session. Instead, we let it unfold naturally, giving Saxon time to warm up and have fun. From casual laughs to confident portraits, we captured the full range of who he is during this milestone year. That balance—of fun and timeless—is exactly what senior sessions should offer.
We also made sure to include some shots with natural backdrops and scenic details to bring more depth and variety. Adding wide-angle shots gave the session an editorial edge, and Saxon’s easygoing personality made it all feel effortless.
As a photographer, I believe senior portraits should be more than just a checklist. They should reflect your favorite places, your interests, and your energy. Saxon’s gallery turned out to be not just a keepsake for graduation, but a tribute to this season of his life.
