Utah State Capitol Blossoms | Salt Lake City Bridals
I remember showing up to engagements and just thinking that the hair scarves Amelia had for not one, but BOTH of her outfits were so dang cute. I told her how much I loved them and they really made her outfits stand out. Fast forward to a few months later and we show up to her bridal session wearing the exact same shoes. Okay, not the exact same. Mine were pink and hers were blue, but they were the exact same style!! Amelia has become one of my dear friends. She texted me after their wedding and told me she wanted to send me a picture of their new apartment. I’m so grateful that these friendships last past the wedding day.
Amelia and Dallin’s bridal session ending up being planned for the exact week that the Utah State Capitol blossoms popped. This might not sound that magical, but this isn’t something you can plan in Utah. We have THEE most unpredictable spring. It has snowed several times since the blossoms came out, we were just lucky enough to not have them ruined.
I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect bridal session. It was supposed to rain the night of the session, but we decided to continue and we would shoot inside the capitol if it did rain. Lucky for us, the rain made it so not a lot of people were at the capitol. It was the prettiest night.
The only thing that would have made bridals better was if Mary, Amelia’s mother, could have been there. Amelia’s parents live in Florida, so I didn’t get to meet them until the wedding day. But the wedding day was SUCH a blast with both of their families. Look out for this beautiful bride and groom’s wedding day later this month!
