It was a CRAZY never-ending weekend of celebration for my little sister, Brooklyn and we are so stoked that our whole little family got to be here for it all. We are so proud of her and stoked that she is coming home with us for a few weeks to continue the celebrations.
1. She got her mission call to serve an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to serve in the Australia Perth mission! If you want to see the entire video from the mailbox to the opening, click here.
2. She turned 19! Woot woot, Happy Birthday Brooklyn! We got pedicures, did a little shopping and had a few birthday faves like crepes!
3. She graduated from North Thurston High School with highest honors. She sang the National Anthem to start the ceremony. Mid-ceremony she got a surprise award (the Principal’s Award) and was recognized in front of the entire pavilion. Then, she walked across stage and got her diploma. After the ceremony, she (being ASB president) and the senior class president led the class in the tassel ceremony and ran the entire class out of the building. p.s. NTHS grads if any of you want copies of your grad pics, you can download them here.
4. She graduated from seminary! Brooklyn attended early morning seminary for four years. It’s not easy getting up 5am every school day, but boy is it worth it!
Kylee started Kylee Ann Photography 9 years ago, and has since grown from a one woman amateur show to a full associate team. We shoot 50-75 weddings a year, and thrive on kindness and service. After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
