When I asked the Wilson family what was most important about their family session, they had the sweetest response. They wanted to capture how sweet their kids were together. And how much they loved their kids. Alex and Jake went to high school together but didn’t start dating until after Jake’s mission. They’ve started a beautiful family together. This was the first time they had hired someone to take their pictures, and they drove to Logan all the way from SLC to make it happen.
Alex says Jake is their rock. He knows how to makes complex things simple. And I saw that during our entire session. So many dads get so overwhelmed by photo sessions with their kids, but not Jake. He made it fun. He made them laugh. He made it goofy, exciting and relaxing. Beckett lights up the room with his sweet smile. He’s fun, kind, thoughtful, creative, confident and such a good friend. I could see that even in the one hour I spent with him. And Sawyer is just a tiny spitfire. She has so much sass and energy in her tiny little body. I had so much fun playing with this beautiful family in Green Canyon. Fall family photo season is my VERY favorite!
