Rachel & Westin

Rachel and Westin are just the perfect couple! They were both world travelers growing up, so their meeting and falling in love had to happen at just the right time. I couldn’t believe it when they said they met while they were both going to High School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia!

Their first official date was on a vacation in The Kingdom of Bahrain. They went to the mall for dinner and a movie, then spent a good amount of time just walking around, talking, and getting to know each other! They continued to keep in touch after Rachel started school at Utah State University in Logan. Eventually, at a romantic secluded bench overlooking the Logan temple, Westin proposed in that sweet moment that they shared together.

Even though their love story has traveled across the globe with them, I got a strong sense that their relationship has never been about fanfare or grand gestures. I could tell by the way Westin looked at Rachel, by the laughs they shared, and by the way he’s talked about her since we began discussing photography plans, that Westin is all about making Rachel feel happy, comfortable, and loved.

Zollinger Tree Farm Engagements

For their engagements, Rachel and Westin chose to go to Zollinger Tree Farm. It was my first time there. I couldn’t believe how friendly and helpful the employees were! The orchards and greenhouses were kept so beautiful. We were amazed by the beautiful sunset light, the chirping birds, and the smell of the new blossoms. Enjoy some of my favorites from our session!

Westin and Rachel shared each hug, walk, snuggle, nuzzle, and twirl of our session with so much sincerity and tenderness. They held hands as we moved from one location to the next. They brought out each other’s genuine smiles, and shared secrets that had them giggling like children!  I can’t believe how lucky I am to photograph sweet couples like them!
