May 23rd, 2014. Addie and Brett Miyasaki were sealed for time and all eternity in the Portland Oregon LDS Temple. The week leading up to the wedding day was sunny, hot and clear skies, but when we all woke up Friday morning the real pacific northwest weather had arrived. It rained and rained! If you’re going to get married on a rainy day, then the Portland Temple is definitely the place. We were able to do all the formal photos inside and out of the rain. Then afterwords, Addie and Brett were rockstars through their formal photos outside. With their huge umbrella in hand, we walked through puddles and under drippy trees with no complaints just pure happiness. It was a beautiful rainy pacific northwest wedding and I’m so glad I could be a part of it. I’d also like to thank my wonderful second shooter, Hannah Fine. It was especially nice to have a roadtrip buddy on the long drive there and back from Olympia.
